Healthier Together Oregon provides a common vision and shared priorities for how to improve health for people in our state. Some of the strategies are already in progress. Much of this work is new and innovative. An equitable future is within our reach. We can get there as we work together, align our goals and measures, and co-create with impacted communities.
Healthier Together Oregon will inform Community Health Improvement Plans developed with Coordinated Care Organizations, local public health authorities, Community Advisory Councils, and hospitals. It will affect state agency policies, partnerships and investments. It will also provide a roadmap for organizations wanting to improve health in their community.
We know we will not get this right unless others join us in this effort. We value our current partnership with other state agencies including:
- Oregon Department of Transportation
- Oregon Department of Education
- Department of Land Conservation and Development
- Department of Human Services
- Oregon Housing and Community Services
We regularly update this list of organizations, programs, coalitions, and advisory groups, along with their partners, that have committed to goals, strategies, and activities they will undertake through 2024. Contact us to be added to our list.
Our implementation plan will change each year as we move the work forward. It includes details about activities and timelines of how we will accomplish our strategies through 2024. Contact us if you believe a program or activity you are working on could become part of the implementation plan.
